The Shalom Jacob Memorial Library Project is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Rav Shalom זצ״ל by organizing, archiving, and digitizing his unparalleled and historic collection of ~50,000 Sefarim and building an appropriate home in which to house them. Our goal is to safeguard and expand this historic collection and make it accessible.
Cataloguing
The cataloguing of the Sefarim in the Shalom Jacob Memorial Library Project is underway, comprising a dedicated team of cataloguers who have successfully documented several thousand Sefarim to date. As part of that process, the collection is being cross-referenced with existing databases, including Otzar HaChachma, Hebrew Books, and the Chabad Library. Significantly, dozens of Sefarim in the collection have been identified which are not available on any of these platforms, highlighting the unique and valuable nature of this collection.
